Well Help is now at hand.......Ive had so many people come to me with problems, because they think they have traded up to the new plastic extremes, powers and action machines. They have not been getting the reliability or long life they enjoyed with the old traditional Nilfisk models.
I'm not sugesting that the new model's mentioned are particularly bad and there is definatley a place for them, in fact the Extreme got a reccomendation from non other than which magazine. All im sugesting is that if you want something similar to what you had and loved, cherished and reccomended to you friends, follow this guide and you wont go far wrong.
If you had the older models or are thinking of finally putting your old Nilfisk beast out to pasture, you wont be dissapointed with the following Nilfisk models.
GM80c or GM80P replace the following models....GA70, GS/GM80, GS81 range
Family CDF2000 & Business CDB3000 replace the GS/GM90 range.
Extreme Range replace the GM200/300/400 & GM500 King range.
If you follow this guide, you wont go far wrong with your choice and will avoid disapointment.
If you are a small house or flat dweller, you may want to go for the smaller range of action, power and coupe models. Most of the new plastic models have HEPA filtration for your Allergy sufferers, but the bigger models also or can be fitted with HEPA filters.
Even better, if you have a big house/Family and have animals, why not go for a Nilfisk Commercial model, you may be surprised how cost effective they are, the guarantee is shorter but it will likley last longer than your longer warranted Domestic model.
